How to Make Homemade Chipotle Sauce

If your looking for a simple and easy way to spice up your sandwiches or dipping sauces, you’ve come to the right place! My favorite subway sandwich sauce  is the southwestern chipotle sauce. I tried it once on a tuna sandwich and that’s it… I became hooked! Since then I’ve never ever ordered a subway sandwich without it.

Now it's not exactly like the subway chipotle sauce, it's better!I added my own little twist on it, added some fresh cilantro, spiced it up a little more, and BAM! It’s a kick of southwestern goodness in a jar!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 chipotle chile in adobo sauce plus 1 tsp. sauce canned
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • ¼ tsp. ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp. dried dill
  • Kosher salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth about 2-3 minutes or until the mixture is nice and creamy. Pour into a jar or small bowl and refrigerate for up to 4 weeks. Be sure to keep it in the fridge! Enjoy!
